What is the Flags tab in the Student Detail View?

The Flags Tab helps staff track both automated system events and manual alerts related to a student’s behavior, progress, or activity within the platform.



🔄 System-Generated Flags

  • The platform automatically generates over 18 types of tracking flags based on various updates made to a student's record or activity.

  • These serve as real-time indicators of student status or important changes.


Manual Flags

  • Staff can manually raise flags by clicking the “Raise a Flag” button.


  • Two types of manual flags:

    • 🟢 Green Flags – Indicate positive behavior, progress, or accomplishments.

    • 🔴 Red Flags – Indicate concerns, issues, or areas requiring intervention.


⚙️ Custom Flags

  • Communities can configure their own Custom Flags to track specific criteria or unique workflows, based on their support model or internal guidelines.


🗂️ Flag Sub-Tabs

The Flags section is divided into four clear sub-tabs:

  1. Active

    • Shows all current flags.

    • Staff can:

      • Clear or hide flags.

      • Take direct actions like Message or Recommend using the three-dot menu ().


  2. Pending

    • Lists flags that are waiting for review or action.

  3. Hidden

    • Displays flags that were hidden from the main view (but not deleted).

  4. History

    • Contains all past and cleared flags for historical reference.
