What are the Bulk Messaging and Bulk SMS features?
These features allow staff to communicate with multiple students at once, based on search results, course rosters, or any filtered group (e.g., students with low grades, attendance, or GPA).
📍 Where to Find
Bulk action icons are located at the top-right corner of the Sherpa tables.

By default, these icons are disabled.

They become active when one or more students are selected (either via individual checkboxes or the “Select All” checkbox in the header).

Hovering over each icon shows a tooltip with the action name.
✉️ Bulk Message (Email)

Select the students.

Click the Message icon.

In the modal, enter: - Subject - Message Body

Optionally: - Maximize/minimize the widget - Add attachments

Click Send Message.
✅ A confirmation modal appears showing the name, username, and status of each message sent.
📱 Bulk SMS

Select the students.
-
Click the SMS icon.

In the SMS modal, type your message. - Add emojis or attachments if needed.

Click Send.
✅ A response modal shows:

Name, username, status

Error info (if any SMS fails)
📩 If a student cannot receive the SMS (e.g., invalid number), the platform sends the same message to their email, ensuring no communication is missed.
