Coaches / Instructors / Admins may want to open a Student Detail View, and the Activity Tab—which is the first tab—gets opened automatically.

This Activity tab has 4 options/items in the dropdown:

• All

• Activity

• Coaching Session Note

• Private Note

The community can decide which dropdown should be selected by default. This is a configurable setting in:

Community Manager Tool → Settings → Configuration →
Enable private notes as default activity or not

✅ By enabling that feature, the staff would see the "Private Note" type of activity selected in the dropdown, and only that data will be displayed.

However, staff can change the dropdown anytime and view other Activity types.
