Even though staff users typically don't need to complete academic goals like students, there may be situations where staff are required to complete general courses or applications—such as compliance modules, onboarding sessions, or university-mandated training content.

🔍 Why Would a Staff Member Access the Learning Path?

• Complete mandatory training set by the university.

• Explore learning materials or apps relevant to your department.

• Understand the student experience firsthand.

• Review or test content before assigning it to students.

🧭 How to Access the Learning Path (as Staff)

By default, when a staff member logs in, they are taken to the Sherpa Dashboard of their highest role within their primary community.

To access your Learning Path:

1. Click the Learning Path icon in the Global Sidebar. 

   • 

   • This takes you to your personal learning path view—just like a student.

   • You can explore, view progress, and complete activities or apps as assigned.

2. To return to your staff dashboard:

   • Click on the Sherpa Dashboard icon in the sidebar.

   • 
     

   • Select the relevant Community or Training Group.

   • 
     

   • You’ll be redirected to the Sherpa Dashboard for your highest assigned staff role (e.g., Coach Manager, Instructor, etc.).

🔁 Switch Seamlessly Between Roles

Staff users can toggle between Learning Path and Sherpa Dashboards at any time using the icons on the Global Sidebar. There is no need to log out or change accounts.
