The People  icon in the Global Sidebar helps you explore and manage your personal and professional connections within the platform.
Clicking it opens a small popover menu with 4 options:

🔹 1. Favorites

A quick-access list of users you've marked as favorites—students, staff, or mentors you interact with frequently.
👉 You can easily add or remove users from this list directly from their profile cards or dashboards.

🔹 2. Mentors

Visible only if Mentoring is enabled in your community.
Takes you to your Mentor Dashboard, showing a list of mentors you're connected with.
View mentor profiles, past sessions, and related recommendations.

🔹 3. Mentees

Also visible only if Mentoring is enabled.
Opens your Mentee Dashboard, where you can manage mentees assigned to you.
Track their progress, start mentoring conversations, or send recommendations.

🔹 4. Communities

View all public or private communities you're part of or eligible to join.
Explore shared interests, learning spaces, and discussions.
Join or leave communities with a click.
