🏘️ Community Dashboard - Overview

The Community Dashboard is your central hub for discovering, joining, and managing all communities within your university ecosystem.

It helps you stay connected with groups that align with your interests, goals, or academic needs.

📍 How to Access the Community Dashboard?

You can reach the Community Dashboard in two ways:

1. From the Learning Path Page

   • Navigate to the Communities section on the left (under your Learning Path).

   • Click the Dashboard icon beside it. 

   • 
     

2. From the Global Sidebar

   • Click the People icon

   • Select "Communities" from the popover.

   • 
     

Both methods land you on the same dashboard view.

🧭 Tabs in the Community Dashboard

There are two main tabs:

1. My Communities

• Shows all the current communities you are already a member of.

• Includes Community Invite Requests – Accept or Decline as needed.

• Each community tile displays:

  • Community name, banner, logo

  • Quick info: # of members, activity count

  • A “View” button to enter that specific community

  • 
    

• Use the “Past” toggle to view previous communities you were part of.

2. Explore Communities

• Discover new communities that you’re eligible to Join or Apply for.

• 
  

• Perfect for expanding your network or joining interest-based groups.

🗂️ Community-wide Overview Panels

On the right-hand side of Community Dashboard, you'll find summary cards showing key updates across all communities:

• 📣 Announcements – Recent community-wide updates

• 📅 Events – Upcoming or ongoing events

• 📝 Posts – Shared content or discussions from members

These sections give you a quick pulse of what's happening across your community space.
