Can I change my Coach?

As a student on the Fidelis platform, you cannot directly change your assigned coach yourself. Coach assignments are managed by your university or community administrators to ensure the best match for your academic and personal growth.

But don’t worry—if things aren’t working out with your coach, there are ways to request a change.

🔄 What Can I Do If I Want to Change My Coach?

If you're feeling disconnected or are facing challenges, here are your options:

  1. Talk to Other Support Staff
Reach out to a mentor, instructor, or even another coach you feel comfortable with.
If they agree that a coach change might help, they can escalate the request to your community manager or admin.

  2. Raise a Support Ticket
You can formally request a coach reassignment through the Fidelis Help system.

📩 How to Raise a Support Ticket

Here’s how to submit your request:

  1. Go to your Fidelis Dashboard.

  2. Click on the Help icon (a “?” in the sidebar).

  3. Fill out the form with a short description like:
“I’m having trouble communicating with my coach and would like to request a reassignment.”

  4. Attach any screenshots or helpful context (optional).

  5. Click Submit—your message goes directly to the support/admin team.

🧑‍🏫 Why Can’t I Just Switch Coaches Myself?

Fidelis follows a guided mentorship model where coaches are carefully assigned to align with your learning goals. To ensure consistency and fairness, only the university staff or administrators can approve and make coach changes.
