How are Badges created/designed?

Every community has the tools to build Badges. Each badge has an exam associated with it. Exams can include all kinds of questions and are built using a simple tool from the Learning App Author toolkit. When students take the exam, they earn the badge.

To create a new Badge Assessment from the Learning App Author page, click the blue Create box and select Single Level Badge Assessment from the dropdown menu:

You will then be taken to the Badge Intro page, where you can select which type of Badge you wish to create.
There are two types of Badges, Un-moderated and Moderated.

Un-Moderated Badge Exams consist of Objective questions only.
Moderate Badge Exams can have both Objective and Subjective Questions.

To create a Moderated Badge Exam, make sure you click the Mark as a moderated badge box before saving your Intro page.

Once you have click the orange Save button on the Intro page, you can then Edit the Overview, Apps&Resources, and Sample Questions Sections.

To add questions to your Badge Exam, click the  icon in the top right corner of the page.  Then click the  box to start adding questions to your Badge Exam.
