What is a Mentor?
A mentor is a guide who provides advice, support, and encouragement to help a student succeed in their academic and personal development.
Mentors can be faculty members, experienced peers, alumni, or professionals who share their knowledge and experiences to support the student’s growth. They serve as trusted advisors and offer valuable perspectives on various challenges a student may face.
In a university setting, any student can add a mentor by clicking on the Plus (+) icon in the Mentors section of their homepage.
Once added, the mentor will appear in the Mentors section on the student’s homepage.
