Embedding documents can be a useful way for users to have access to resources related to the content being covered in the Learning App. That being said, documents that are too long and wordy can create disengagement from the content being covered.

As an App Author thinking about embedding a document inside of a learning App, ask yourself the following questions:

1. What value is the learner getting from this embedded document?  

2. What role does this document play within the Learning App in relation to the key information i want my learners to walk away with?  

Remember, if the embedded document is too long or wordy it may disengage the user from the learning experience.  It may be wise to pull the key points from the document and present this information in a more engaging way to your learners within the App itself.  You can always provide links at the end of pages to give them access to more detailed versions of the resources you are covering.
