How do I use the Advanced Search Tool in Sherpa?
The Advanced Search feature allows you to search through all student data fields in both the Coach Sherpa and Info Tab.
📌 Advanced Search Functionalities
1️⃣ Select Student Group – Choose a group of students to search from (e.g., students assigned to a particular coach, all coaches, or unassigned students).
2️⃣ Enter Search Criteria – Type in or select the data field for your search.
3️⃣ Set Search Parameters – Define the criteria for your search and click the blue "Search" button.
📌 Available Search Fields
- All fields from the Info Tab and Sherpa Columns are searchable.
📌 Actions Coaches & Admins Can Take After Finding a Student
✅ Create a Private Note – Post a note in the student’s private notes tab and tag the student's coach or relevant team members.
✅ Recommend a Goal – Suggest a personal goal, badge, app, mentor, or sub-community.
✅ Engage with the Student – Comment on the student's activity stream or posts.
✅ Send a Direct Message – Communicate individually with the student.
💡 Best Practice
If a student is assigned to another coach, tag the coach using @"coachname" when posting or making recommendations to ensure they are aware of the interaction.
